2500-6200 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 3400 converter on autos, 3.73's or greater depending on transmission. Works very well with nitrous and proper tuning. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads, stock cylinder heads though offer sufficient clearance.
Have seen average gains of 70-80hp with full bolt on cars with nothing more than this cam only. LS6 intake works well with this camshaft.
Specs are in the low 230's intake and mid 230's exhaust. This cam can be ground on any Lobe Seperation Angle desired, but we highly recommend a 113 LSA to maximise the potential of this cam. |
